THE HAHUE， May 24 (Xinhua) -- Ajax announced the arrival of Peter Bosz as successor of head coach Frank de Boer on Tuesday night.


Bosz had a contract until mid-2017 with Maccabi Tel Aviv， but both clubs reached an agreement on the departure of the 52-year-old coach to Ajax. He will sign a contract until June 30， 2019 in Amsterdam. His current assistant Hendrie Kruzen also joins Ajax on a three-year contract.


In January this year the former Dutch international Bosz left Vitesse Arnhem to move to Maccabi， with which he finished second in the Israeli league and lost the State Cup final 1-0 to Maccabi Haifa on Tuesday.
