What’s up http://www.saintsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-benjamin-watson-jersey , Who Dats!? Tee Word is back with the New Orleans Saints Player of the Week for Week 5 of 2018! The Saints tallied win number four and are headed into the bye week with momentum and good fortune in their favor. On a magical Monday night in New Orleans, the Black & Gold warriors put on a show for all to see on their way to a 43-19 victory over the NFL’s Washington representative. A record would fall and another was placed into focus at the hands of the most prolific passer in NFL history, Drew Brees. Of course, Brees wasn’t the only Saints player in uniform and though his performance was tops among them, a few of his teammates provided solid performances. Full disclosure, I really want to give this award to the defense at some point, but on this special night, no one but Brees deserves this recognition. As a change of pace, I’ll briefly summarize a few players who put on PotW performances but could not do quite enough to surpass the momentous occasion. Offensively Cheap Drew Brees Jersey , the Saints had four non-Brees players contribute to the points total explosion including 3 catches for 111 yards and 2 TDs for rookie Tre’Quan Smith, 2 rushing TDs for Mark Ingram, 4 catches for 74 yards by Michael Thomas, and 5 catches for 71 yards for Cameron Meredith. Surprisingly, Alvin Kamara was quiet due to limited touches.Defensively, Cameron Jordan has flipped his switch and decided to produce 2 solo tackles for loss and 1 sack, staying on track to finish with 16 sacks on the year. Marcus Davenport turned in his best performance of the season with 3 total tackles (2 solo), 1 sack, and 2 tackles for loss. Davenport’s performance is a developing story-line that should be monitored closely over the next few weeks. The defensive line is starting to turn up the heat as of late. Justin Hardee was forced into cornerback duty and had 2 passes defended to lead the team. Vonn Bell led the team with 8 tackles on a night when everything went right for the Saints in every phase of play.On this night Cheap Marshon Lattimore Jersey , Drew Brees was the star of the show. The night began with anticipation in the air and the audience sat, waiting for Brees to cross the threshold of history into the title of NFL All-Time Passing Yardage Leader. With 2:36 remaining in the 2nd quarter, Brees dropped back to pass and found Smith for a 62-yard TD pass to push the Saints lead to a 20-point lead to break the record. Play was stopped; all in attendance and those watching from afar took some time to celebrate history. Brees embraced his teammates, coach, and his family...the post play penalty was worth it. The greatest passer of all time would finish the night with 363 passing yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions. Brees’ 153.2 passer rating was his best of 2018. With a bye week on the horizon, Brees can relax and plan exactly how he’ll celebrate his 500th TD pass in week 7 versus the Baltimore Ravens. As long as the wins keep coming, Who Dat Nation will enjoy this awesome journey into history. As Week 6 has arrived, the Saints will look to rest, relax http://www.saintscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-larry-warford-jersey , and prepare for a tough head to head game versus the Ravens. Considering what lies ahead and what has recently transpired, Saints fans get an extra week to celebrate the greatness that Brees’ passing mastery and prepare for the next record-breaking milestone in Week 7. I think we can all agree that no other player deserved player of the week more than Drew Brees. As always, Thanks for reading, Be Cool Who Dats! Why the New Orleans Saints Could Win it All, Part I: Offensive Line Bringing back a series of pieces from the past two years, we’re going to check each position group on the New Orleans Saints and discuss how they improve the Saints’ chances of making a run in 2018. Let’s start with the offensive line...Pro Football Focus ranked all NFL offensive lines following the 2017 season, and the Saints came in 9th overall:Long-time New Orleans Saints staple Zach Strief won’t be back with the Saints in 2017, and unfortunately, the Saints were not able to retain Senio Kelemete who signed with the Houston Texans via free agency. So here’s why they’re better in 2018:Bill Streicher-USA TODAY SportsFirst things first Cheap Ryan Ramczyk Jersey , the New Orleans Saints have a relatively young offensive line outside of Max Unger. Terron Armstead is still in his prime (albeit he remains a consistent injury risk concern). Larry Warford is only 26, and he surprised many with his level of production in New Orleans. Andrus Peat continues to develop and 2017 1st Round Pick Ryan Ramczyk was one of the steals of the entire draft last year. The main reason the Saints offensive line should be better in 2018 is that this young core should continue to grow and improve year after year. While the losses of Strief and Kelemete could hurt, Strief was injured for almost the entirety of the 2017 regular season. Kelemete was the back-up who stepped up in 2017, so it is primarily that depth that will be missed. The Saints re-signed long-time Saint Jermon Bushrod to come in and provide that depth on the offensive line, and the Saints drafted two intriguing offensive line pieces in the 2018 NFL Draft: Rick Leonard (4th Round) and Will Clapp (7th Round). Leonard and/or Clapp both have an outside chance of seeing meaningful snaps in 2018. If Armstead is able to play a full 2018 season (Armstead hasn’t played more than 13 games in a single season since 2014), and we see the growth from players like Ramczyk and Peat that we expect, the Saints’ offensive line could improve from just the top half of units in the NFL, but to one of the very best. cheap football jerseys
