The deal is for one year and around $6-7 million, as previously reported.Marty Hurney made the following statement on the deal:And Williams had the following to say:Coupled with the signing of free agent center Matt Paradis for three years, $27 million, the Panthers have now provided options to protect their franchise quarterback, Cam Newton. We don’t know yet how they plan to fit all the pieces into place (other than Paradis being penciled in at center and Trai Turner being locked in at right guard) but we do know that the Panthers have something they haven’t really had in a long time: quality options to choose from on the offensive line.
