BEIJING, April 24 (Xinhua) -- China is becoming the most favorite country for world top clubs and stars to visit with the country's economy expanding and sports fans spiralling.
Former NBA star Tracy McGrady is taking part in a commercial activity in Beijing on Thursday. The former Raptors and Rockets player enjoys popularity in China for being a teammate of Chinese center Yao Ming in Houston.
McGrady also played in Chinese basketball league CBA for a season in Qingdao, Shandong province.
English soccer icon David Beckham is one of the most frequent foreign visitor to China in recent years, mainly for commercial promotions. Beckham has been named the ambassador of China's youngsters soccer program last year.
